What this center does.

Built to make real training accessible.

Pennsylvania Tactical Training Center reinvests training revenue into safer facilities, more class dates, and community-focused courses like Stop the Bleed and Youth Firearm Safety. We exist so brand-new shooters, church teams, and local organizations can get high-quality, safety-first instruction without having to travel or pay premium rates.

Start at the right level.

  • Two black semi-automatic handguns and two silver bullets on a white surface.

    Pre-Basic

Private, 2-hour, slow-paced sessions for brand-new or nervous shooters. Safety, handling, and how to show up to the range the right way.

  • A man in black attire aiming a handgun indoors, with wooden shutters and an old green armchair in the background.

    Basic

Core firearms foundation: safety, parts, loading/unloading, stance, and marksmanship on handgun, carbine, or shotgun.

  • A man aiming a shotgun outdoors, wearing a camouflage vest, black hoodie, safety glasses, and a brown and gray trucker hat, with fall foliage in the background.

    Intermediate

Range-based training for shooters who can already run the gun. Reloads, malfunctions, faster target engagement, cleaner gunhandling.

  • A soldier running outdoors holding a scoped rifle, with a blurred background of trees and rocks.

    Advanced

Full-day (8 hrs) for experienced students: longer live-fire blocks, movement/positions as appropriate, and higher performance standards.

Choose your level and platform below (handgun, carbine, shotgun) or pick one of our community safety classes if you don’t need firearms training. We offer Stop the Bleed, OC/Pepper Spray Certification, Handcuffing & Detainee Control, Youth Firearm Safety (parent + youth), and church/workplace safety consultations so more people in our area can participate. Packages do not expire and may be gifted if unused. Prerequisites must be completed and will not be waived.

Safety & Standards

Arrive 10 minutes early.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled start time so we can verify your ID, go over range rules, and make sure all paperwork is complete. Late arrivals reduce training time and may delay the rest of the class.

Firearm(s) Unloaded & Cased

All firearms must arrive unloaded, in a case, and remain cased until an instructor tells you otherwise. Do not handle firearms in the parking lot or lobby. This protects staff, students, and our facility.

24hr+ Notice for Rescheduling

If you need to change your appointment, please reschedule 24 hours in advance (48 hours preferred for range-heavy classes). Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the spot or a session from a package, because we reserve instructor and range time specifically for you.

Your enrollment helps us train more people.

Every paid class helps us improve the range and classroom, host more low or no-cost training days, and expand to serve more counties. This is how we turn individual enrollments into community-level safety.
